In order to boost electric mobility, the NCA Metropolis is raising its aid ceiling for the purchase of a bicycle, scooter, or electric car.
For brand-new vehicles that are 100% electric, the incentive will increase from 3,000 euros to 5,000 euros starting August 1, 2021. Additionally, for the purchase of an electric scooter or bicycle, the bonus will be doubled, amounting to 400 euros instead of 200 euros. Christian Estrosi specifies that for the purchase of a “human-powered” bicycle, “It will be 50% of the bike’s price up to a ceiling of 100 euros.”
Other innovations
With the aim of promoting “flexible mobility” and consequently protecting the environment, the metropolis plans to install 600 charging stations on public roads by 2025. Currently, 305 stations are operational.
These measures are proving effective. There have been 60,000 charging sessions on the Nice network in one year, representing 190,000 kW/hour. This equates to 135 tons of CO2 saved in 2020.
