9:30 PM: TREENITY Concert and video projections of the group
4 personalities, 4 artistic universes that provide us with a new variation of what trip hop can be (just when we thought we had explored everything about samples and haunting voices). Subtle, distilled electronica, saturated guitar sounds to emphasize when it hurts, a keyboard with dense harmonies, a hypnotizing female voice that effortlessly transitions from whispered singing to the rock’n’roll screams of the greatest riot girls. They inhabit the stage like you do your home.

10:30 PM: MERAKHAAZAN on stage, video projections according to the choice of the association โRegard Indรฉpendantโ
After facing the great classics (Metropolis, Nosferatu, Un Chien Andalou) in cine-concert formats, this will be an opportunity for this inventive double bassist (solo double bass/auto-sampling) to illustrate other currents of contemporary cinema; short films, Straight8… it is less about offering “figurative” music sticking closely to the action and narrative than about responding to the “grain” of the image with appropriate musical “textures”.

11:00 PM: Video projections and dance
REGARD INDEPENDANT, an association supporting independent creation in the field of cinema and video, presents a selection of short films combining the arts of imagery with that of dance.
You will be able to discover the new film by Catherine Savy, who comes from the world of dance, and follow her use of video from a memorable variation on Little Red Riding Hood. “Vague Amรจre” received the award for best regional creation at the Nice Short Film Festival in April.
“La chair de Galatรฉe” is a film by Sรฉbastien Antoine, a student from ESRA Cรดte d’Azur, a strong and original work about the mystery of creation, confronting a painter, his model, and a statue. Here, dance is synonymous with enchantment, a ballet of death and eroticism.
“Yendin” by Yann Marquis is an astonishingly visual work, a danced fairy tale that won the PACA region award at this year’s Nice Short Film Festival.
“Trois cafรฉs, s’il vous plaรฎt” is a film by Nazareth Agopian, created as part of the “Ateliers Courts” Film Workshops “Auteurs’ Films, Actors’ Films”, a program setup with Hรฉliotrope and the collective La Rรฉplique. The film tells the story of the meeting of three solitudes, a tale full of humanity under the sign of music and theater.
Midnight at closing: DJ Sets
