Individual coaching at Cap Jeunesse Côte d’Azur

This Wednesday afternoon, Nathalie Mazeau offered individual career coaching sessions at Cap Jeunesse Nice.

For a year and a half, the Cap Jeunesse Côte d’Azur center has been hosting Nathalie Mazeau, a personal development coach, sophrologist, and facilitator in collective intelligence. Once a month on a Wednesday, she volunteers her time to help young people who feel lost regarding their career paths to gain clarity.

Cap Avenir Orientation

The coach offers one-hour sessions to registered young people. These sessions are free and open to anyone aged 15 to 30 who wants assistance with their educational or career orientation or reorientation. “The idea is to help them, in just an hour, to clear the path a little. But also to give them a methodology, so they ask themselves the right questions about what might potentially interest them,” explains Nathalie Mazeau. It’s also a session to try to restore their self-confidence. “The message I try to convey to them is that anything is possible,” she adds.

These sessions seem to resonate with the young people who came to Cap Jeunesse this Wednesday. Such is the case for Darrel, a student in his first year of general high school studies in Nice, “I think she’s the only person in my entire school career who truly provided information and helped me,” he expresses.

Cap Jeunesse: Helping Young People See More Clearly

The center is a youth information office. Their goal is “to answer all the questions young people might have, whether regarding studies, work, housing, or international mobility. It’s very broad,” explains Cécile Pinaud, the center’s communications officer. Numerous actions are taken to help them. For example, on Wednesday, September 23, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a National Police information session. Forums, workshops, and activities are also regularly conducted.
