Infections are rising again in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Latest News

The Alpes-Maritimes have increased the number of positive detected cases by 8: from less than 20/100,000, it has risen in two weeks to approximately 160.

The arrival of tourists, the unruly behavior of people, partygoers lingering at night on the beaches, all contribute to the spread of the Delta variant, which now accounts for 80% of positive cases.

Fortunately, the vaccination indicator is progressing well.

The Covid-19 epidemic has caused 20 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the latest report from Santé Publique France.

Currently, 7,041 people are hospitalized, with 360 admissions since the previous day. 902 patients are in critical care, with 76 admissions since Sunday.

4,151 new cases have been counted, compared to 1,260 last Monday.

Since the start of the vaccination campaign, 37,809,568 people have received at least one injection (which is 56.1% of the total population), and 30,788,868 people now have a complete vaccination scheme (which is 45.7% of the total population).
