A story of encounter… and sharing!
The association Les Blouses Roses regularly visits the residents of the Retirement Homes managed by the CCAS through personalized visits, artistic workshops, and offering performances.
To kick off a December full of events, the Association Les Blouses Roses contacted the association “Générations en Fête” to offer the residents of the Retirement Homes for War Veterans, Grosso, Fornéro, and Saint Augustin an original show.
This show, produced and performed by young volunteer artists, will take place in two parts: firstly, dance and music, followed by a vintage dress fashion show.
This is the final performance of this show after a three-year tour in the Principality of Monaco.
The seniors (100 residents present) and the teenagers (7 artists) will come together for a festive snack after the performance, thereby promoting intergenerational encounters.
The Program:
3:00 p.m.: Themed dances: Flamenco Dance and Oriental Dance;
Saxophone and Clarinet duo by two students from the Music Conservatory of the Principality of Monaco
3:30 p.m.: Speeches
3:45 p.m.: Fashion show and grand finale with very original wedding dresses;
4:15 p.m.: Festive snack.
The association Génération en Fête:
The association “Générations en Fête,” chaired by Béatrice Castelain, was created in October 2008.
The association aims to encourage altruism among young people and promote intergenerational exchanges.
The association Les Blouses Roses:
The association Les Blouses Roses, created in 1944, is currently chaired by Bernadette Reeve and represented in Nice by Dominique Bouvet and Chantal Levet.
The association gathers nearly 4,000 volunteers spread over more than 150 cities (Metropolitan France, DOM, and TOM) to offer creative, artistic, and recreational activities for sick and/or elderly people to break isolation and regain some self-confidence.
These volunteers intervene both in hospitals (specific departments and Emergencies) and in Retirement Homes.
