The Cinémathèque of the City of Nice offers a free introduction to screenplay writing and short film production.
This session “Screenplay User’s Guide” will be taught by Richard Sidi, head of the Screenplay and Production departments and General Delegate of the Maison du Film Court.

6 PM ●● The formal specifics of screenplay writing
7 PM ●● Drama lesson: The climax
9 PM ●● Production or self-production of a short film
Richard Sidi is also a reader for funding allocation commissions (CNC, Thecif, Picardie Region…), a lecturer at the University of Bordeaux III, FEMIS, CEEA, the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts, and the École Estienne, and author of the book “Knowing How to Optimize a Screenplay” (Published by Scope Éditions).
