France is entering for the first time the “Top 5” of the annual ranking by the American consulting firm A.T. Kearney. The tricolor economy has not been “affected by the ‘yellow vests’ movement,” it notes. The United States, meanwhile, still largely dominates the ranking.
According to A.T. Kearney, France has progressed in the hierarchy of the world’s most attractive countries, entering for the first time this year the “Top 5” of the American firm’s ranking. It was in 7th place in 2018.
Confidence in the French economy, which “has increased significantly since Emmanuel Macron’s election in 2017,” has not been “affected by the ‘yellow vests’ movement,” notes the consulting firm. According to them, France, which surpasses Japan (6th), “remains competitive” among developed economies.
