This Friday evening, IPAG Nice opened its walls to a vibrant and colorful event from 8 PM to midnight. The students of this first Master Media Manager class orchestrated their first radio show. Thus, the public, listeners, and internet users were treated to an explosive cocktail of prestigious guests, musical moments, and interviews. A look back at an extraordinary launch.

ipagmastermediamanager.jpg 5,4,3,2,1 … “On air”! It’s 8 PM, and the radio show is live on Radio Sensations, which has just given birth to Radio Ipag. Angélique Alasta and Franck Viano opened the show, but their students quickly stepped in to lead the dance and master the radio tool.

Like pros, they presented and interviewed artists who performed, local political figures, celebrities, and you could hear it in their voices: “they are eager,” as we say in the business.
They shared the show with Dominique Estrosi Sassone (Deputy Mayor and Delegate for Social Affairs), Denis Zanon (Director of the Nice Office), Benoit Kandel (First Deputy Mayor of Nice and General Councilor), Marc Concas (Lawyer at the Nice Bar and General Councilor), Noémie Honiat (Top Chef 2012 semi-finalist), among others. Guests who played along and agreed to discuss issues in fields like journalism and politics, media law, or press week.

A radio station is nothing without music, so Radio Ipag pulled out all the stops with live studio performances: The Kitchies, Kazan, Trys Kayo, Who’s the monkey, Red Fox, and Faithless set the tone!
As for the students who orchestrated the event, there was a bit of pressure, a lot of enjoyment, a touch of stress, but above all, a great deal of ambition.

Fiorella is part of this class; she finished a political interview and now agrees to be questioned herself as an aspiring professional. A fourth-year student at IPAG in Marketing/Sales, she decided to change course and specialty to join this new Master Media Manager, “an addition to her CV.” Communication “has always guided her life” since she comes from a family of merchants, and as for her future project, she “would love to be in event management”…

Enough talking, it’s time for her to join Leila, Émeline, Vanessa, Caroline, Eva, Heloise, Thomas, Tristan, and Antoine so they can all together savor the success of their first show. Radio Ipag has launched, its hosts have taken off, and in the media sphere, they are ready to soar.
