As every year, the Ironman France Nice is set up on the Promenade des Anges with a large village bringing together numerous brands.
This year’s participant program will consist of 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling in the hinterland, and 42 km of running.
This edition will not lack spectacle considering the headliners present such as Frederik Van Lierde, Victor Del Corral, Magali Tisseyre, and Melissa Hauschildt.
The event also diversifies by offering additional races such as Ironkids (children aged 8 to 15) and the Byphasse Iron Girl, reserved for women.
But the Nice Ironman also includes measures taken (within the framework of the Eco-event charter) to reduce the environmental impact and promote eco-friendly behavior.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis has thus placed “Packaging” bins and “Household Waste” bins at the refreshment points. It has also connected some refreshment points to the Eau d’Azur network to reduce the use of plastic bottles.
Finally, 2000 volunteers have been trained and made aware of waste sorting and reduction.
