Isola 2000 stops at CAP3000 to launch its winter season.

Latest News

On November 15th and 16th, the Isola 2000 resort is bringing a piece of the mountain to the heart of the CAP3000 shopping center in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Two days of activities to announce the opening of the 2025/2026 winter season, featuring children’s workshops, ski simulators, and meet-and-greets with the resort’s ambassadors.

On the weekend of November 15th and 16th, visitors to CAP3000 will discover an unexpected setting. For the first time, Isola 2000 is coming to the shopping center in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. The goal is to bring the mountain spirit to just a few meters from the Mediterranean and to showcase the new features of the winter season.

The resort has chosen the central square of the shopping center to set up a temporary village open from 10 AM to 6 PM. Admission is free. The program includes sporting activities, children’s workshops, a photobooth, and meet-and-greet moments. The event is for both winter sports enthusiasts and families looking for a taste of the snow.

Starting at 10 AM, the public can discover the latest news from the resort. Visitors will be welcomed in a wintery atmosphere, with music, mountain decor, and activities accessible to all ages.

Isoรน, the new mascot of Isola 2000

The main highlight of this launch is the presentation of Isoรน, the new mascot of the resort. It will make its first public appearance over the weekend. According to the organizers, “Isoรน will now accompany all your moments at the resort and will be present throughout the weekend for unforgettable meetings and photos.”

Children will be able to meet her on-site and participate in creative workshops. On Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM, a “Make Your Snowman” workshop will allow them to get introduced to the world of Isola. At 2 PM, they can “Decorate Their Christmas Ornament.” Two occasions aimed at prolonging the magic of winter, even just a few steps from the beach.

For the older ones, the “My First Slopes of the Season” area will offer a ski and snowboard simulator, open from 11 AM to 6 PM. A way to rediscover the sensations of gliding before the slopes open.

A photobooth installed in the central square will also allow visitors to leave with a keepsake. Visitors can pose in a mountain decor and share their snapshots on social media.

Several moments will punctuate these two days. On Saturday at 11:30 AM, visitors can attend the “Isola 2000 Ambassadors” gathering. These representatives of the resort will share their experiences and tips for enjoying the area.

In the late afternoon, at 4:30 PM, a signing session is scheduled with the artist Eric Garence, the creator of the official poster for the 2025/26 season. One hundred collector posters will be up for grabs and can be won on-site.

A raffle will also be organized during the weekend. Participants will try to win a stay at Isola 2000, including a ski weekend.

The program promises to be comprehensive. The children’s activities and workshops will repeat on Sunday, while the activity spacesโ€”simulators, photobooth, and information standโ€”will remain continuously accessible.

A link between sea and mountain

Through this initiative, Isola 2000 highlights its proximity to the Cรดte d’Azur. Located 1.5 hours from Nice, the resort emphasizes the complementarity between the two worlds. The organizers sum up this link in one sentence: “This event perfectly illustrates Isola 2000’s unique proximity to the Cรดte d’Azur. Just 1.5 hours from Nice, our resort offers you the best of both worlds: the joys of skiing at altitude and the Mediterranean mildness.”

This event is also part of the November programming at the shopping center. CAP3000 is hosting multiple events this month: themed parties, cultural events, product launches, and openings of new stores. Welcoming Isola 2000 is part of this dynamic.

Visitors will be able to switch from shopping to mountain activities without leaving the central square. An assumed mix of genres that brings audiences together and creates a moment of encounter between the people of Nice, vacationers, and local tourism players.
