To raise awareness among older individuals about reducing plastic waste, Isola is organizing an event day this Friday, June 24th.
Cleaning of the Tinée river, fun activities, presentation of alternatives to plastics with sustainable solutions—the activities in place will allow participants to actively contribute to the site’s depollution while learning how to optimize their actions.
This is the fourth event of this project, which has already taken place in La Trinité, and its focus is sustainability. Because to reduce plastic waste, we first need to raise public awareness of this major cause, which is the protection of the environment.
That is the main objective of the project STOP: Sensitizing The public to Operate for a reduction of Plastic, led by the Sea and Mountain Discovery Center (CDMM).
