It’s Press Week in schools.

Latest News

The flagship operation of the Center for Liaison of Teaching and Information Media (CLEMI), the Week of the Press and Media at School®, has been conducted for 25 years, offering schools and willing institutions the opportunity to discover current news media (print, radio, television, website) in their diversity and pluralism.

The 25th Week of the Press and Media in School®, which takes place nationwide from March 24 to 29, traditionally spans a fortnight in the Nice academy and will therefore be held until April 4.

In the Nice academy, the Week is organized and overseen by the CLEMI coordinator along with partner media (Nice Matin, Var-Matin, Nice Premium, Direct Matin, the Club de la presse 06).

Press publishers play a crucial role in the success of this event by mobilizing editorial teams, providing copies, and covering part of the shipping costs.

In 2014, 302 educational institutions are engaged, and numerous activities are planned in schools, colleges, and high schools in Alpes-Maritimes and Var. By participating in this media education sequence, students learn to analyze, prioritize, and verify the information they receive, thereby developing a critical and thoughtful approach towards information.
