This season, the festival’s program will begin on October 1st and end on April 1st, 2011, with screenings taking place one Friday each month.
No fewer than 10 films (including some masterpieces like “La Ciociara,” which earned Sophia Loren an Oscar for Best Actress, or “I Vitelloni” by Federico Fellini, which opened the doors to success and fame for the director and a young actor who would later become a giant of international cinema, Marcello Mastroianni) will be shown for the enjoyment of the many enthusiasts of the Italian language and cinema, whose tradition and quality no longer need to be demonstrated.
