The fair “Lโ€™Italie ร  Table,” created and organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce on the occasion of Italian Republic Day, has opened its doors for the twelfth consecutive year. It offers the people of Nice, the French Riviera, and visitors from all over the best of Italian gastronomy.

An event that has now become a fixture in the Nice early summer calendar and is inaugurated every year with the cutting of the tricolor ribbon symbolizing Franco-Italian friendship.

A gastronomic event above all, but also a cultural exchange that promotes one of Italy’s strong heritages: the love for authentic flavors and the cuisine of quality products.

“A true treasure that we must pass on to future generations,” says the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Agostino Pesce.

An educational event as well, enriched with numerous workshops, activities, and demonstrations dedicated to both the young and the old to raise awareness about good cooking and healthy eating.

The value of initiatives like “Lโ€™Italie ร  Table” is also confirmed by the latest statistical data: France remains the second-largest global partner in Italy’s foreign trade. The Italian agri-food sector, in particular, represents a significant portion of France’s import market, with a trade volume of 3 billion euros.

Agostino Pesce adds in conclusion: “This twelfth edition maintains the important characteristics that have ensured its success, such as the quality of the products and exhibitors. It especially benefits from new attractions that will undoubtedly captivate and delight the people of Nice, who have been faithfully attending for many years.”
