Just like Greece, Italy announced on Friday the end of the five-day mini-quarantine previously imposed on travelers coming from European Union countries, with the stated goal of reviving its tourism sector.
“The Health Minister Roberto Speranza has signed an order that allows entry from European Union countries, the Schengen zone, Great Britain, and Israel with a negative (anti-covid) test, thus canceling the current system of mini-quarantine,” his ministry stated in a press release.
This measure will come into effect starting Sunday.
