Organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, L’Italie ร  Table will reopen its doors from May 26 to 29 at the Quai des Etats-Unis on the Promenade des Anglais. And this year, for the first time, the fair will extend to Antibes for the Italian Republic Day celebration, from June 2 to 5, at the Prรฉ des Pรชcheurs at Port Vauban.

The fair will be open to locals from Nice and the Cรดte d’Azur as well as visitors from all backgrounds, showcasing the best of Italian gastronomy.

A gastronomic event first and foremost, but also a cultural oneโ€ฆ

L’Italie ร  Table seeks to be a place of exchange, meeting, knowledge, and learning: a rich program of conferences, workshops, and demonstrations for both young and old has always accompanied the exhibition.

The events are conducted by producers and other professionals,
both French and Italian, sharing a common passion for Italian terroir.

As every year, a tasting journey awaits the visitors: there will be productions from the Piedmont and Liguria regions, from Apulia to Veneto, from Sicily to Sardinia, from Lazio to Calabria, from Umbria to Tuscany, and finally from Emilia Romagna. Indeed, this year, the Parma Region will be in the spotlight with its producer-exhibitors showcasing the typical specialties of
the province.

Taste is cultivated!

L’Italie ร  Table has always been an occasion to educate the younger ones about taste and the importance of good nutrition. In collaboration with the Education Department of the City of Nice, the Italian Chamber of Commerce is strengthening its activities dedicated to children as part of the event.

The photography contest “My Most Beautiful Photo of Italy” will be continued for children, and L’Italie ร  Table will once again be featured in the canteens to serve 23,000 Italian meals to children from 160 schools in Nice.

Moreover, workshops reserved for schools in the Metropolis are being organized; the initiative is very successful as, to date, nearly 600 children from 26 classes are expected at the fair for activities centered around the history of Italy and the County of Nice, seen through their products.
