Jacques Peyrat, the incumbent Senator Mayor of Nice, a dissident from UMP and leader of the Republican Accord list, received Nice Premium in his city hall office on Saturday, February 23. The rules of the interview are simple and the same for each candidate: a dozen questions and between 45 to 60 minutes of discussion. The candidates had the opportunity to elaborate on their arguments. Jacques Peyrat explained his strong opposition to the UMP candidate Christian Estrosi, criticized the media, particularly the regional daily, while expressing confidence in retaining his mayoral seat.
