JAZZ Under the BIGARADIERS 2014 is approaching! From November 7 to 18, 10 days, 10 venues, 100 musicians: happiness is under the bitter orange trees…
As a sign of its popular success, the Jazz under the Bigaradiers festival offers ten days of concerts this year. One more evening to enjoy the event: while the gala evenings take place at La Coupole, the opening is held at La Séguinière, then at the So What club, in several Gaudean restaurants… and even in schools.
For its 18th edition, Jazz under the Bigaradiers is banking heavily on its unique atmosphere to stand out from its peers. For ten days, the whole village resonates with the sound of jazz, from its most prestigious ambassadors to its most unknown messengers. This is why the event places importance on the free concerts that animate La Gaude: everything is done to encourage the public to discover and mix genres, from improvised music to the Rock of current music.
And the paid evenings do not deviate from the rule, with the living legend that is double bassist Henri Texier and the immense pianist Jackie Terrasson who, between Tokyo and New York, will make a stop at… La Gaude, for a dream duo with the talented Stephane Belmondo on the flugelhorn.
