On Wednesday, April 22, the trio “Tu danses?” consisting of Jean-Marc Baccarini (saxophones), Philippe Canovas (guitar), and Christian Mariotto (drums), will celebrate the timeless music of the great John Coltrane.
Bassist Gautier Laurent and pianist Jean-Marc Bourel will join the group for this beautiful evening dedicated to Jazz. As Philippe Canovas shared: “Tu danses?” cultivates the art of pretense, moving through spirals and shifts, with a bubbling energy and vitality conducive to the pleasures of play. The melody is king, always present like a tightrope allowing the three protagonists to imagine the most improbable figures and invent soundscapes that only the present moment can generate.”
At the end of April, the trio and their guest musicians will take the Gréco audience on this high-flying musical exercise for a superb tribute to the famous saxophonist who passed away forty years ago…
