After a “blank” year due to Covid… a month of festival from Saturday, October 30 to Thursday, November 25!
A vibrant Jazz festival with international musicians and those from the Côte d’Azur who will meet the best jazzmen of the region for over a month.
Highlights of the program:
• Saturday, October 30, Jazz at the SoWhat club, 9:30 PM
“Jazz Cabaret” in two parts, Club So What, 16 Gabriel Ponzone Street, with Isotopia, then the PounkIPATrio.
• Thursday, November 4, Cannes, 7:30 PM, Alexandre III Theater
“Colors”, the new musical project by Pierre Bertrand’s quintet, winner of the Victoire de la musique, and conductor of the Nice Jazz Big Band.
• Friday, November 5, 9 PM at the La Coupole hall in La Gaude
Opening night with:
- So What Company, which has been playing jubilant Jazz music written and improvised for the audience and the stage for almost 25 years.

Nicolas Folmer and Luc Fenoli’s trio
A dream quartet with guitarist Luc Fenoli and trumpeter Nicolas Folmer, paying vibrant tribute to Michel Legrand.
• Saturday, November 6, La Coupole performance hall
- 11 AM, artistic and jazz performance, cinema hall: the Jazz and funk quintet “Doobies 5” will improvise on a pictorial creation by Alexandra Allard, with a projection of their work on the big screen.

12:30 PM musical and gustatory aperitif

9 PM gala evening, cinema hall, with Carol Nakari’s quartet and their project “Women,” with jazz covers and a variety of unique styles.
Then, Jazz accordionist Frederic Viale’s trio with guest saxophonist Emanuele Cisi… along with his two companions, Natalino Neto on bass and Thomas Galliano on drums.
• Monday, November 8, 9 PM, “Jazz and Film” evening in the cinema hall of La Coupole
Jazz and cinema with the film “Changer le Monde” and the group Amou’ Caché.
An evening of Jazz and cinema, in collaboration with the Vence Cinematographic Meetings and in the presence of the director, will conclude this event featuring Frank Cassenti’s quartet Amou’ Caché and his film “Changer le Monde,” with Archie Shepp.
