During an address on the 1 PM news program of TF1, Prime Minister Jean Castex spoke to the French people, announcing the end of the most significant health restrictions.
Since Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the mandatory mask requirement outdoors has been suspended throughout France. Almost a month to the day after this measure ended, the head of government Jean Castex announced the suspension of two other major restrictions.
The Prime Minister announced the end of the mandatory indoor mask requirement (except for public transport) and the end of the health pass as of March 14.
These suspensions occur in a particular health context, as for several weeks the number of daily cases has been plummeting.
