Nice Premium: Jean Icart, what do you think of the new OGC Nice sauce Niçoise salad?
Jean Auguste Icart: The disagreements among the various shareholders seem to have come to an end – hopefully the last one – without us being informed of their deep reasons. Apparently, the sauce has resumed. The image of Nice, once again, has not been enhanced, due to all the mysteries that the situation suggests.
NP: Maurice Cohen reinstated after having been dismissed. What is your opinion on this matter?
JAI: I observe that Maurice Cohen seems to have been satisfactory since he took office.
Suddenly, he becomes displeasing, and three days later he is back in favor. What are the real elements of appreciation? How frivolous!
NP: What measures would you take if you were in charge of the club?
JAI: A valid appreciation could only be given after a thorough audit.
This is necessary to allow for appropriate and dignified management of Nice, the fifth largest city in France, which should have an equivalent rank in the realm of football.
NP: Finally, do you think OGC Nice will play in Ligue 1 next season?
JAI: All that remains is to hope in the solidity of the players and in their ability to play without regard for internal conflicts. Let’s give the voice back to the sport. Go Nice!
