To enable those interested in this field to better navigate their options, Mr. Eric Ciotti, Deputy and President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, has requested that the department finance a support module for careers in personal services. To benefit from this training, one simply needs to attend a group information session and pass aptitude tests for careers in personal services.
Program:
From 10 AM to 12 PM:
– A presentation of careers in personal services (at home or in a community setting),
– A presentation of the training,
– Responses to participants’ questions.
From 1:30 PM to 4 PM:
– Aptitude tests for careers in personal services.
A key component of the Social Cohesion Plan, personal services are experiencing significant growth due to increasing demand, notably due to the aging population and the growing needs of families.
The support module allows for the acquisition of basic skills for these professions, facilitating and accelerating employability. The targeted jobs are entry-level qualifications such as nursing assistant, medical-psychological assistant, school life auxiliary, family life assistant, etc.
With a duration of eight weeks (including two weeks in a company), this module is unpaid, but participants maintain their allowances (if they are registered with the National Employment Agency) and receive a fixed fee coverage of expenses amounting to 12 euros per day, which is 408 euros per trainee, upon presentation of the end of training certificate. This training is offered approximately every two months and can accommodate 14 people.
