Joëlle Martinaux climbs the final step and becomes the National President of the CCAS.

After being reinstated as the head of the Nice CCAS and recently elected to the presidency of the departmental body, Joëlle Martinaux has also ascended to the national level to become President of the UNCCAS for the next six years. The UNCCAS brings together the 3,950 CCAS in France.

A great satisfaction and well-deserved recognition for this doctor who is deeply committed to social causes. Joëlle Martinaux thus succeeds the socialist Patrick Kanner, who is the deputy mayor of Lille and the current Minister of City, Youth and Sports.

The outcome of this spring’s municipal elections shifted electoral weights and allowed for this change, which comes shortly before the UNCCAS congress scheduled in Nice on October 15 and 16.

It will be an opportunity for the new president to welcome her colleagues and guests as the hostess.
