Yesterday in Valencia, Spain, Joëlle Martinaux, President of the Unccas, was re-elected Vice-President of ELISAN (European Local Inclusion and Social Action Network).

ELISAN is a European network of social elected officials who support social actions and projects in their countries and promote exchanges to implement the most effective social models in the prevention and support of poverty, dependency, people with disabilities, families, and youth.

The ELISAN network is open to local and territorial authorities, their groups, and European structures composed of local or territorial elected officials responsible for social issues (CCAS, CPAS, associations of elected officials, etc.).

To date, 763 cities have joined ELISAN, representing more than 13.7 million citizens in Europe.

ELISAN conducts real reflections, exchanges of experiences, and proposals to develop a social Europe adapted to current social challenges, serving all European citizens.
