A series of “scenes” that confronts power with the impotence of a trivial weapon. An inquiry into the growing polarity in US politics and social skills. Homeland Security (1) is a sardonic critique of the current American preventive military foreign policy, Go it Alone, and a delirious portrayal of the “citizen soldier” defending the clichés of his native habitat: the trailer, the lawn, the flag-draped coffin, the waterfront access… and most chillingly, sitting stoically in front of a television, in a darkness interrupted by its intermittent cyclopean light.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, October 4, starting at 6 PM.
