The Tourism and Congress Office, the organizer of the Carnival, is organizing a casting as it does every year to recruit the young women who will form the teams that will parade on the floats for the Battle of Flowers. Among them, there will be the future Queen of the 2014 Carnival!
Two castings are organized on the 13th and 16th of November from 10 AM to 4 PM at OTC Nice located at 5 Promenade des Anglais (1st floor). The goal is to find the new team of young women who will parade on the floats for the Battle of Flowers, but also to elect the Queen of this Carnival, which will celebrate its 130th anniversary.
The criteria required to apply are to be between 18 and 25 years old, at least 1.70 meters tall, and a size between 36 and 40. To participate, you must bring a swimsuit, high-heeled shoes, an ID card, and a health insurance card.
Following the castings, a jury will select candidates to participate in the Queen of the Carnival contest, which, like the previous four years, will be elected by internet users on www.nicecarnaval.com.
The prizes will be as follows:
- For the Queen: A trip to Naples (plane and hotel) for two, one-year contract with ENJOY MODELS agency, and a photo book.
- For the 1st and 2nd runner-up: A one-year contract with ENJOY MODELS agency and a photo book.
