The city of Nice organized the first K-Pop Night at the Théâtre de Verdure for the Nice Carnival on Friday, March 1, 2024.
On the occasion of the Nice Carnival and its theme around Pop culture, Nice offers several events. Thus, the Riviera capital organized a K-Pop Night at the Théâtre de Verdure. This evening is an opportunity to discover and share the passion for music and a part of Korean culture.
An evening taking place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. that brings together K-Pop fans and the curious. The program includes: dance shows, K-pop music and dance, DJ set, dance initiation, quiz/blind test, and several stalls selling K-Pop hoodies or food trucks.
The evening was attended by the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi. The mayor was able to enjoy and discover Korean musical culture. Also present were Chanel Berrebi, crowned Miss France Youth 2023, who will represent France next year in the world competition, and Nel Monnet, the Antibes native who is a finalist in the Miss and Mister Youth contest.
