Today, Nice-Première grabbed the remote control: Let’s zap to M6Kid! Fans of this show won’t contradict me if I write that it was hosted by the most beautiful and the most athletic TV host (Yes, one does not exclude the other): Karine Lima.
Flipping through the resume of this charming Franco-Portuguese young woman, we learned she is a polyglot but also a woman of multiple talents. She’s a Wonder Woman! TV Presenter – Model – Singer – Dancer – Sketch Writer – Journalist – Actress – Radio Host on RTL… Phew, I’m out of breath! Is this girl a chameleon? No, she simply has ambition and talent! At just 28 years old, Karine Lima is far from done making headlines.

Nice-Première: In 10 years, you’ve done so much: singer, model, advertising, actress, radio host, sketch writer, journalist, TV presenter. What energy! How do you define yourself?
Karine Lima: I am passionate! I love singing, dancing, theater, television… I need to express myself artistically, it’s innate and it’s an inexplicable, vital feeling. Moreover, in all these fields, I meet very different and wonderful people, which is very enriching. I’ve always made sure I could live off my passion, so I hope it continues as long as possible!
N-P: From September 2001 to June 2005, you hosted the “M6 kid” show. This season, Audrey Sarrat became the host. But today, she lost her job for presenting an “anatomical experience” for sale on DVD, and it’s Maéva Berthelot who has taken over. What do you think?
K.L.: I loved hosting “M6 kid” for 4 years, it’s a wonderful team that offers a very intelligent show for the youth. Audrey is a nice girl but she wasn’t very clever! It’s a pity she only hosted the show for three months! Nonetheless, I’m not worried about her; she’s very talented. Bravo to Maeva! She’s joining a very friendly family and will live great moments on television; she is only 20 years old, perfect for the show. I wish her a long career…
N-P: In 2005, you played a role in the series “Léa Parker” and also, in the famous Tropézienne series “Under the Sun”. Interested in a movie role?
K.L.: I loved shooting in “Léa Parker” and “Under the Sun,” two very nice and different series; my roles were quite the opposite! Yes, of course, I dream of a movie role. I missed some great roles by a whisker some time ago. Today, I need to prove again that I’m not just a “TV host” and that I really want to act.
The ideal: a role like Nikita!
N-P: You are also the most athletic personality on TV. Enthusiast of extreme sports: jet skiing, rally racing, karting, ice racing, skydiving…Which of these sports has given you the most thrill?
K.L.: I love sports and especially the adrenaline it provides! This feeling of always surpassing oneself and pushing to the limits is absolutely intoxicating!
My favorite sport: car racing, I love driving and controlling such machines on ice, in the desert, and even on tarmac!
The one that always affects me: skydiving, I’m afraid of heights, so I cure myself by jumping!
