_”Kรฉfa?” a bus created by young people for young people_
Born from the reflections of the Young General Councillors during their 2004 term, “Kรฉfa?” is a bus created by young people for young people. It is funded by the General Council and staffed by a prevention officer, a psychologist, and a sociologist coordinator from the French Mutuality. As a true mobile preventive tool against addictive behaviors, the “Kรฉfa?” Youth Health Bus travels around the department with the aim to:
โข Establish a dialogue with middle school students about the risks associated with the use of legal or illegal drugs, develop their critical thinking and independence in relation to peer pressure,
โข Work with teachers on a prevention program to sustain interventions among middle school students (following the recommendations of the National Education),
โข Raise awareness among parents and families through conferences about risk behaviors.
_A bus dressed in the colors of the “Kรฉfa?” campaign_
In 2010, the YGCs conducted an awareness and prevention operation concerning addictions: alcohol, drugs, and the internet. The originality of this truly expressive and innovative communication led the General Council to dress its Youth Health Bus in the colors of this campaign.
