“King of Pop Culture”: Discover the poster for the Nice 2024 Carnival

Latest News

The poster for the 2024 edition of the Nice carnival was unveiled on December 6 and it’s safe to say that the theme is adhered to.

Mickey Mouse, Star Wars, Mario Kart, the references to the theme of the 2024 edition of the Nice carnival “King of Pop Culture” are evident on the official poster that has just been revealed. It follows last year’s poster, which highlighted the “King of the World’s Treasures.”

A lightsaber is enough to represent the Star Wars phenomenon, a green shell and a banana nod to one of Nintendo’s most classic video games, and the yellow shoe leaves no doubt—it’s the iconic mascot of the Walt Disney Company hidden in this pop art-inspired setting.

“Vibrant colors and captivating patterns, this poster is an invitation to all to experience the most incredible event of the year!”, announces the organization of the Nice Carnival.

Ticketing opens on December 18

From February 17 to March 3, Nice will welcome locals and tourists from around the world to celebrate pop culture through its carnival parades led by its extravagant floats and its unique traditions like the burning of the King.

Last week, YouTuber Cyprien announced his collaboration with the Nice carnival. The multifaceted creator will be one of the illustrators for the 2024 Nice Carnival, designing and imagining one of the grand floats that will be showcased during the event.

There are only a few days left before the ticket sales open. On December 18, you can purchase your tickets online at www.nicecarnaval.com.

The 2023 edition attracted 200,000 spectators. Such attendance generated 30 million euros in economic benefits for the city.
