La Gaude en Fleurs already existed before when the Mediterranean lands were cultivated by many local horticulturists, who themselves decorated the city’s sites to showcase their production and the quality of their flowers.
This event, having been set aside for about ten years, was revived by the municipal team in 2010 and will celebrate its 3rd edition on the upcoming 22nd and 23rd of September with the arrival of autumn.
Some decorations are created by professionals (florist decorators and artists) and others by passionate volunteers and amateurs, adorned with local flowers but also imported ones due to the decrease in our local horticulturists.
