“I am completely unable to describe my music… If you tell me it’s Rock, I believe you, if you say you hear Latin influences, I can’t contradict you, if you recognize Pop elements or find some funky grooves from the seventies, it’s probably true… The only thing I’m sure of is that I couldn’t play it with guys who wouldn’t be Jazzmen through and through! Jazz is the only language I understand, and it’s the only music I know well enough to know it will inspire me for life!” Rémi Vignolo, drummer of the Jazz band AKDMIK Orchestra, tells us.
