In a society where senior isolation is an increasing challenge, solidarity becomes a priority. It is this solidarity that our mayor, through various initiatives, strives to promote by bringing joy and pleasure to our elders.
Opened in 2023, the second restaurant was created to break the isolation of seniors, offering them an opportunity to meet people, participate in various activities, and maintain an essential social connection. This restaurant is specially open to those holding the 55+ card and is located in the heart of the senior residence.

In a pleasant setting, with a terrace overlooking the park, the restaurant now offers, besides a balanced meal at a reduced price, a series of activities and events in the afternoon. This experiment, which runs until December, allows all seniors to enjoy a meal for only €3 every Wednesday. With a capacity to accommodate 52 people, this project aims to include as many seniors as possible and offer them moments of relaxation and enjoyment.
How to participate?
To take advantage of this initiative, seniors can register with the senior management or the senior office. Through this initiative, the City of Nice shows its commitment to its elders by offering them not only a quality meal at an affordable price but also moments of conviviality and sharing.
