This year, the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra has embarked on a complete programming of Ludwig van Beethoven’s symphonic works, which will continue until 2020, the year marking the 250th anniversary of his birth.

The third concert of this program will take place this Sunday at 3:00 PM on the stage of the Nice Opera.

Chronologically, this program takes us from the year 1800, the date of creation of the first symphony, to the year 1808, the date of creation of the fifth.

On the program: Symphony No. 1 in C major, Opus 21, followed by the Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Opus 15, and concluding with Symphony No. 4 in B-flat major, Opus 60.

Gyรถrgy G. Rรกth, musical director of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, will hold the baton, while on the piano we will have the pleasure of appreciating, for the first time in Nice, the talented Costanza Principe who, with a Beethoven ever-present in her repertoire, is pursuing a remarkable international career.
