In order to offer better working conditions for students and staff, the department plans to construct a new secondary school in the municipality of Levens as part of the College Plan 2028.
This future school will have a capacity of 400 students and will include a boarding facility. It will help reduce the current enrollment at René Cassin College in Tourrette and cut down on travel times for current students from the municipalities of Levens, Duranus, and Saint-Blaise.
A public consultation will therefore be held from January 3 to February 3, 2022. This consultation is indeed required for procedures “aiming to make local urban plans compatible, subject to environmental assessment.”
