The Communal Center for Social Action is organizing a grand solidarity festival with their institutional and associative partners from October 12 to 18, who, like them, are committed daily to fighting exclusion.
This friendly event aims to make everyone aware that solidarity is everyone’s business, to inform the general public about the existing daily social work, and to offer people from concerned structures a genuine moment of celebration and sharing.
Thus, this week will offer both activities exclusively reserved for beneficiaries of partner institutions and associations, and public events open to the residents of Nice.
This Monday, around thirty people (beneficiaries of several social services of the CCAS and partner associations like ATD Fourth World or an Establishment and Service for Work Assistance for adults with intellectual disabilities) will participate in a guided tour of the Nice Opera, specially organized for them by the city’s Heritage Center as part of the solidarity week.
This discovery of the Opera, in a majestic setting, aims to offer these people a beautiful escape from institutions and the often difficult daily life, as well as to provide them with a first approach to culture in general.
This visit will mark the official launch of the solidarity week in the presence of all partners of this grand Nice solidarity festival.
