This Monday, on the occasion of the “National Taste Week” (October 8-14), school cafeterias and municipal nurseries will offer culinary activities and taste discoveries. Taste Week is an opportunity to raise children’s awareness of the importance of a varied and balanced diet. It is a time for a break that combines pleasure and friendliness.

At 12:30 PM at the school cafeteria of Corniche Fleurie Kindergarten

Chef Ratatouille has prepared a menu for the kindergarten students of Corniche Fleurie School, inspired by Jousé Garibaldi’s travels in Uruguay. The theme “Garibaldi, a Niçoise hero, conquering the continents!” will be featured throughout the year on the young ones’ plates.

The schoolchildren will explore new flavors: Ensalada Criolla, Bacalao with tomato and onion sauce, saffron rice, and homemade dulce de leche ice cream. During the lunch break, the children will also participate in fun activities offered by the youth service.

At 3:30 PM at the municipal nursery “Les Petits Loups”

Exploration of tastes, seasonality of products, and the colors and shapes of fruits and vegetables.

The staff at the “Les Petits Loups” nursery offers a delightful culinary program for the little ones: spice or chocolate paintings, stories and nursery rhymes, pastry workshops, and fruit juice making, etc.
