On December 9, 2009, for the first time in France, an award honored companies that champion diversity for their concrete initiatives.

For this second edition, the Business and Diversity Action Award is open to public and private administrations and local authorities, as well as SMEs and large groups. New award categories have been created for 2010, including an “SME Award” and a “Diversity Communication Award.”

To highlight the innovative approaches of companies and local authorities in promoting diversity and equal opportunity through recruitment processes, training, career management, or any other action to combat discrimination, the award ceremony will take place on October 13, 2010, in the symbolic setting of the National Assembly, under the high patronage of Mr. Bernard Accoyer, President of the National Assembly. Renowned personalities known for their commitment or expertise, including Vรฉronique Morali, President of the 2010 Jury, and Richard Descoings, President of the 2009 Jury, will participate in the debate on diversity organized on this occasion.

Companies and local authorities wishing to participate in the Business and Diversity Action Award 2010 are invited to download their application form now from the website www.prixentrepriseetdiversites.fr. This must be submitted no later than July 20.

The Business and Diversity Action Award was founded in 2009 with the support of the Caisse des Dรฉpรดts et Consignations group and ACSE by Nora Barsali (more info on [www.agirpourlegalite.fr](https://www.agirpourlegalite.fr)), a communication and diversity consultant and TV producer, and Claude Suquet, founder and former president of the CSA polling institute, to promote concrete actions carried out by companies across all diversity criteria.
