With the first reading committee that took place at the Maison du Département de Nice Centre for the city’s jurors, the 7th edition of the Prix Livre Azur 2020 was launched.
For this new edition, it will be hosted by the award’s patron since its inception, writer Jean Siccardi. The Nice-born author, winner of the Prix Baie des Anges 2018 with “L’Auberge du gué” published by Calmann-Lévy, will present the selected books to the jurors.
Each reading committee will meet once a month, from December to April, to discuss the selected novels. The 150 jurors will then come together during May and vote by secret ballot to choose the winner.
In total, 11 reading committees and 55 discussion meetings will take place to determine the winner of the Prix Livre Azur 2020.
