To satisfy the demands of Nice’s residents regarding noise nuisances and gatherings that generate a feeling of insecurity, the Nice municipality has created a specialized brigade dedicated to public tranquillity issues.
Starting this Monday, March 5, the BMITP – Mobile Intervention Brigade for Public Tranquillity, created within the Department of Security and Protection and composed of 12 Municipal Police officers, will operate in the streets of Nice to combat all forms of nuisances: incivility, disturbances, vandalism, neighborhood issues, gatherings of youths…
Its objectives: to reassure and calm the citizens, deter potential or actual offenders, and reduce the feeling of insecurity.
