This Friday, Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council, will launch the departmental plan for autonomy. Aging and disability are major competencies of the Alpes-Maritimes Department.
As the leader in solidarity policies, the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council continues its commitment to supporting the elderly and people with disabilities.
This approach, in line with the philosophy of the 2005 disability law and the 2015 law on adapting society to aging, aims to give a comprehensive meaning to public action in terms of autonomy support.
The future departmental plan for 2020-2024 will place the human aspect at the heart of its considerations and the ongoing consultation, in order to implement concrete and innovative actions to meet the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly.
