For the 12th consecutive year, middle school students from the Alpes-Maritimes are participating in the “Nature Days” organized in the Departmental Natural Parks of Vaugrenier and the Grande Corniche. Four days have been scheduled, with more than 800 students from 16 middle schools in the department taking part.
These actions were initiated by the Department, in partnership with the Academic Inspectorate, following the terrible fires of 2003. Their aim is to develop a genuine risk culture and to make young people aware of their behavior as citizens.
This year, the focus is on the protected and invasive species of the Departmental Natural Parks.
