Just a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean, the hinterland offers plenty of thrills with all sorts of activities. On Monday, June 3, Eric Ciotti, President of the Finance Commission of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, launched the “Pure Mountain Pass.”

Located an hour from Nice, Vésubie-Valdeblore has over time become an essential destination. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or looking to relax, everyone can find something for themselves. The site offers exclusive activities, both indoors and outdoors.

From June 3 to September 30, the Pure Mountain Pass allows you to choose six activities from the twenty-two available. Tree-climbing, swimming pools, climbing, summer sledging, and a wide range of activities to enjoy with family or friends. You can, for instance, find the largest zip-line in France. With speeds reaching up to 120 km/h over a 2.66 km descent, thrills are guaranteed. It is worth noting that during the months of July and August, two free shuttles will connect the available activities at Saint-Martin-Vésubie-Le Boréon, La Colmiane-Valdeblore, and Roquebillière-Berthemont. Available in both adult and child versions, priced at €49 and €39 respectively, it allows for savings of up to 30% for adults and 38% for younger visitors. This electronic pass is available in a dematerialized version as well as a PVC card.

To discover this new offering, the public is invited on Saturday, June 8 for an open day at Boréon. After collecting a 2019 Pure Mountain bracelet, visitors can try various sports such as mountain biking or climbing. In addition to the activities offered free of charge that day, admission to Alpha Park will be free. The two young wolf cubs born in April will amaze both young and old.
