Objective: Helping users plan their trips
The website www.ceparou06.fr is an information service for travelers that allows users to simulate itineraries using public transportation (buses, coaches, trains, trams) and soft modes of transportation (walking, cycling) in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Principality of Monaco.
This system will notably allow users to:
- aggregate existing theoretical information from different transportation networks and calculate travel times,
- provide, in addition to theoretical information, predictable information on disruptions (construction, strikes, known traffic congestion at certain times),
- visualize the proposed itineraries on a map (overview, detailed step-by-step itinerary, and location of exchange hubs),
- inform users about the cost of the trip,
- provide schedules…
This service will connect the various transportation networks present in the Alpes-Maritimes territory: Lignes d’Azur, Envibus, Carfenbus, Bus Azur, Sillages, the Monaco Buses, Chemins de Fer de Provence, TER, and the major SNCF lines.
