At 24 years old, this young singer from Toulouse gives us reason to believe that the French scene will soon be able to boast a new rising star, who easily navigates between a smooth variety with a swinging groove, and an acoustic soul, sensitive and light.
From her early childhood, music took a predominant place in young Laureโs life, from piano lessons to singing lessons, she built the foundation of her artistic universe. The call of music could not be delayed, and at the age of twenty, Laure left her pink city for the city of lights, where she quickly mingled with a bustling Parisian hip hop scene.
Singer-songwriter and performer, Laure Milan gently and smoothly shares her blues and heartโs desires through truthful lyrics, subtly highlighted by carefully crafted melodies. She also composes and writes for artists like Amel Bent and contributes to Diam’s album.
Laure brings a naturally touching and uncommon freshness, which one cannot remain indifferent to.
On stage, opening for Lauryn Hill at Bercy, Craig David or Corneille at the Zenith, during Gage’s national tour (including 2 Bataclan shows in Paris), her charisma, opaline voice, and sparkling personality speak volumes.
Discover her on CD with the release of her album on October 16th and on stage opening for Diam’s on December 14th at the Nikaia in Nice.
