As part of the extension works for Tramway Line 1, a new bridge will be constructed, adjacent to the current René Coty bridge, to accommodate the future tramway platform. This large-scale project, with a duration of 10 months, will result in a structure that is 91.5 meters long and 9.65 meters wide.
This 450-meter extension of Tramway Line 1 will include a new station, “Hopital Pasteur,” and will attract an additional 5,000 travelers per day on this line. Service to the Pasteur district and the Pasteur University Hospital Center will be operational by spring 2013.
