This year, the Alpes-Maritimes Committee of the League Against Cancer is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Six decades of fighting cancer and providing assistance to patients in the department.
This anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate the Committee’s primary missions, those that, every day, make the League Against Cancer the leading cancer-fighting association in the department and in France.
Since its creation, the League has supported research, patients, and their families, and has conducted prevention efforts aimed at the general public and youth in educational institutions.
The General Assembly of the Alpes-Maritimes Committee of the League Against Cancer and the conference “Cancer and Aging: the Challenges in Our Territory” will take place with the presence of Professor Jacqueline GODET, President of the National League Against Cancer.
