The “Reading for All” operation aims to prevent illiteracy through meetings between writers and schoolchildren, among other initiatives.
From Wednesday, November 7 to Friday, November 9, children’s author Christine Palluy will be visiting schools and leisure centers to discuss her book “Nélio’s Silence,” published by Alice Jeunesse.
Christine Palluy lives in Nîmes and has been writing since 1999. She has published over sixty pieces of children’s literature for ages ranging from kindergarten to middle school. She writes tales and rhythmic stories that often blend humor, emotion, and adventure. A regular participant in school and library meetings, she never tires of exploring topics that captivate children: tales and picture books, first humorous and rhythmic reads, young crime novels, Greek mythology, and she enjoys raising awareness of social issues among her young readers.
