Candidate in the 4th constituency, Laurent LANQUAR-CASTIEL, departmental secretary of EE-LV, laments the emergence of lists that have only pecuniary ambitions for obscure associations with “photobooth candidates” who only appear during the legislative elections to pocket public funding and who are never seen again on the ground afterward.
For nearly two years and the primary call of the left and the ecologists, supported notably by Dany COHN-BENDIT and Yannick JADOT, Laurent LANQUAR-CASTIEL has continually advocated for complementary candidacies to promote ecologist ideas and has redoubled efforts in the fragmented configuration of the Presidential elections.
Laurent LANQUAR-CASTIEL highlights the “foresight of the socialist leaders,” who have spontaneously decided not to present any candidate against him and are calling to vote for the ecologist candidate, responding to his calls for gathering.
With scattered candidacies from the contesting left, Laurent LANQUAR-CASTIEL asserts himself as “the useful vote of democrats, ecologists, and progressives against two ‘republican’ candidates,” which can make the difference in the second round, to break away from the compromises of the Fillon and Le Pen system proponents, embodied by the LR and RBM candidates.
“I am the only local and competent candidate who is neither parachuted in nor a multiple office holder, and who can represent the voice of our forgotten territories and citizens,” he asserts with conviction.
